Topic: Alternative Shop plugin now available on Github
I didn't realize that nakome was working on a shop plugin and have been working on my own. My plugin is now available on Github.
Many thanks to both Awilum and nakome. Plugin is based on Guestbook and learning from many of nakome's plugins.

The plugin uses minicart.js and accepts paypal. Nakome's plugin is much more advanced, but if you want a simple shopping cart plugin, this might just do the trick. You'll have to use paypal for managing orders.

Current Limitations:
-no product options (i.e. sizes or colors)
-image is only a url field, not file upload
-no image resizing (optimize your images first)
-variables might clash with nakome's plugin
-uninstalling drops the whole shop table
-needs bootstrap.js
